What’s This About
The Idaho State Journal Kids Matter event will be held on November 8, 2017 at the Stephens Performing Arts Center in Pocatello.
We know that kids in Southeast Idaho are doing amazing things. From raising money for local charities to helping to prevent bullying, these kids are showing that good things can come in small packages.
The Kids Matter event will shine a spotlight on these students. While there are many events that focus on the athletic and academic accomplishments of local students, this one will focus on good deeds, kindness, community involvement, friendship and more of the goodness that kids in our neighborhoods are creating every day.
The Kids Matter event will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Stephens Performing Arts Center in Pocatello.
Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. with appetizers and a live DJ followed by the awards ceremony from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Beatboxer Parker Kane will be the keynote speaker. The nominees, their parents and siblings get free admission and others such as grandparents, aunts, uncles etc. a ticket is just $5.
Let’s honor our kids
